Green INSTRUCT present in the 1st International VEEP Workshop

Green INSTRUCT project was disseminated during the 1st International VEEP Workshop (https://bibm.cpi-worldwide.com/en/veep-workshop) which took place in the 17th May 2017, in Madrid, Spain. The Workshop was organized in cooperation with the 22nd BIBM Congress (https://bibm.cpi-worldwide.com/en/) which took place on 17-19 May 2017 in Madrid, Spain. BIBM Congress is the biggest event of the European precast concrete industry, taking place every three years.

BIBM 2017 (https://bibm.cpi-worldwide.com/en/) gathered more than 650 registered participants, including exhibitors. The Congress offered more than 30 presentations with three plenary and three parallel sessions showing interesting best examples in sustainable production and promoting sustainable markets. An exhibition with more than 60 companies offered solutions for the planning, design, manufacture and installation of modern precast concrete structures.

Green INSTRUCT was represented in the VEEP workshop by ACCIONA which is a valuable partner in the Green INSTRUCT consortium. During the workshop, the Green INSTRUCT representatives had the opportunity to disseminate the scope and the objectives of the Green INSTRUCT project, but also exchange views and ideas, with the targeted audience that the VEEP workshop managed to gather, in building technology, concrete technology, concrete recycling technology and other important stakeholders from the building industry. Green INSTRUCT flyers were distributed to all the participants of the workshop.

Green INSTRUCT at BRIMEE Seminar “Circular Economy in the building construction sector – NCC as a generator of a eco- economy in building industry”, 17 May 2017, Warsaw, Poland.

The Green INSTRUCT project was presented at the BRIMEE project’s seminar: “Circular Economy in the building construction sector – NCC as a generator of a eco- economy in building industry.” The seminar took place on the 17th of May 2017 in Warsaw, Poland in Zamoyscy Palace and it was organized by SARP (Association of Polish Architects).

The seminar was dedicated to the dissemination of the idea of a new bio- renewable, easy-to –use panels, BRIMEE panels, drawing attention on questions important for end-users (architects, engineers, investors). Speakers from University of Technology and organisations connected with “green buildings” as well as representatives of BRIMEE project and other EU projects presented different topics related to the circular economy in the construction sector.

The Green INSTRUCT project has been presented along with other EU projects such as HISER, RE4, VEEP or InnoWEE. Polish Green INSTRUCT project partner, Jarek Zarychta from NR-GIA Budownictwo Sp. o.o. presented the overview and the goals of the Green INSTRUCT project. Moreover he gave an update on the current state of work on the project and the development of the idea of the panel design.

At the conclusion of the seminar, Mr. Jerzy Grochulski, PhD, Vice president of SARP, Vice dean of Warsaw University of Technology expressed his satisfaction and hope that in working with many teams on the broad issues of Circular Economy in building construction sector, CDW reuse projects and material circulation In the construction industry, the future should bring groundbreaking solutions in this area.

All participants in the seminar expressed their satisfaction with the possibility of exchanging information related to their projects and willingness to cooperate further. It has been referred that with further cooperation, complex goals will be efficiently reached faster.

Green INSTRUCT at the Green Infrastructure Conference in Italy, Orvieto, 4-7 April 2017

alchemia-nova as provider of the green exterior wall for water treatment was present at the Green Infrastructure Conference 2017 about nature based solutions for sutainable and resilient cities in Orvieto, Italy between 4-7 April 2017. alchemia-nova presented the Green INSTRUCT general poster, as the project is still in early stage. The topic of integrating green elements in urban environments seems to be high in trend and the developments in the Green INSTRUCT project will add to its further use.
